Software Architect Senior
Primary Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Software Architect Senior for our premier client in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Education and Experience "

Proficiency in managing and optimizing Talend Data Integration environments including job design, routine maintenance and troubleshooting.: 3 Years.
Experience in TAC and TDC: 3 Years.
Proficiency in administering Linux servers, managing user accounts, system updates, monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues.: 3 Years.
Experience managing and maintaining Windows servers, applying updates/patches, handling Active Directory, resolving issues.: 3 Years.
Ability to manage and track SSL certificates, ensure they are up to date and handle any related issues or errors.: 3 Years.
Experience in creating and managing data pipelines in Azure Data Factory specifically targeting Azure Synapse: 3 Years.

Highly desired:

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell and ability to automate routine tasks and troubleshoot.: 3 Years.
Experience with managing and configuring cloud services like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud: 3 Years.
Familiar with network architecture and principles, including routers, switches and firewall configurations.: 3 Years.
Understanding of other database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and principles of database management: 3 Years.
Experience with system monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus: 3 Years
Comprehensive understanding of IT security principles, practices and systems: 3 Years.
Experience in planning and executing disaster recovery protocols.: 3 Years.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and translate technical terms into easy-to-understand concepts: 3 Years.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

Designs, codes, and debugs new application software programs and/or make enhancements to existing application software programs, of all levels.
Evaluating, identifying and developing software solutions
Leads development activities for a functional area, module, or project. Provides and documents technical design and specifications meeting business and functional requirements.
Developing good working relationships with other employees, such as Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Programmers and Engineers
Planning, tracking and managing of Agile software development projects using tools such as JIRA.
Monitors and tunes systems software and networks for optimal performance
Documenting and recording every aspect of an application or software.
Locating and directing solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware interface
Tests and debugs new and existing application software.
Executes task conforming to shop techniques, standards, policies, and procedures.
Uses case tools and/or application development software tools.
Assists, direct, train and coordinate the work of less experience application software developers and/or application system analyst staff; and assist with development of difficult and complex processes.
Monitors application software systems to ensure proper execution and performance.
Performs related duties as required.
