- 3+ years of experience in a data architect role
- 5+ years of experience data modeling data solutions including but not limited to : ODS, Data Warehouse, Data Integration Hub, OLTP/OLAP, or equivalent knowledge
- 5+ years of experience data modeling, querying, and performance tuning relational DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
- Experience with recent data technologies (NOSQL, Hadoop, RedShift, etc.) preferred
- Expert SQL skills and demonstrated ability to write complex SQL for purposes of analysis and translation of data needs into back-end structures
- Demonstrated experience in work estimation and management
- Leadership of focused technical teams

The Data Engineer Senior/Area Data Architect will provide strategic leadership and direction for data-related projects.
The role will partner closely with at least one Line of Business to maintain their data model in alignment with standards and architecture.
The Data Engineer Senior will review data models, evolve and implement OneAmerica Ways around data, and design and execute on continuous improvement efforts.
