Do you want to work for an organization that is mission oriented? Is mental health education important to you? The mission of 1N5 is to prevent suicide by erasing the stigma of mental illness and promoting optimal mental wellness.
We achieve this mission through education and stigma reduction, community engagement, policy and advocacy, and measurement and data work.1N5 is seeking a Community Program Manager to join our skilled team of caring and inclusive professionals.
This exciting position is focused on two main responsibilities:
Cultivating community relationships while developing partnerships with organizations; and
Training community organizations, schools and corporations on mental health in the prevention space.

Pay range:
$60,000 to $65,000 per year
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cultivate partnerships, build relationships and plan training and education sessions with community organizations
Provide professional presentations on mental health topics to a variety of community organizations, schools and corporations throughout the Cincinnati area
Develop educational literature related to mental health, mental illness, wellness and prevention
Screen educational materials to determine if resources are viable, safe and effective
Manage contact and communication with mental health providers in the community to create and expand resource networks
Work closely with 1N5 social media professionals to enhance educational content
Provide insight and support for evaluation and data analysis efforts
Support the advancement of statewide mental health policies through advocacy
Occasional evening and weekend work required to respond to immediate needs and attend meetings, training and events
Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of mental health and illness
Experience with social/emotional health prevention in community organizations, companies and/or students in grades K-12
Excellent public speaking skills
Eagerness to interact with a variety of community members and populations who may vary in factors such as age, socioeconomic status and knowledge level
Sense of urgency and commitment to timely responses to stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Dedicated to evidence-based programming
Passion for improving the state of mental health in the community
Team-oriented and willingness to help others
Professional judgment and discretion
Ability to handle confidential information and situations
Commitment to diversity and inclusion
Experience with clinical and community work is a plus
Research experience in the mental health field is a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Public Health preferred. Will also consider related degrees in psychology, counseling, social work, education, etc.
