    Description

    TelCom Construction is looking for motivated employees to join our team We are currently hiring for a full-time Quality Control Technician.

    The Quality Control Technician position will oversee productivity and quality of work on daily operations and help setup projects. In addition to setting up projects, this position works with customers on issues in the field and relays all information back to the Field Supervisor; Coordinate jobs with outside services, such as subcontractors, and management
    Organize equipment, material and labor to complete project in a timely manner
    Verify accuracy of locates, materials
    Flag projects, determine running lines off permits
    Look into permit for any special instructions and make sure crew/sub knows
    Maintain quality control reports
    Update schedule and Field Supervisor on a daily basis
    Support Supervisors and Foremen to monitor and enforce all company and outside required safety policies and procedures
    Maintain and properly document DOT paperwork
    Manage materials using a spreadsheet
    Previous telecommunications work experience, experience running crews is preferred
    Must have knowledge of quality processes and be familiar with a variety of safety programs
    Must be proficient with Google Suite, database software and Microsoft Office Suite
    Class A CDL is a plus (Higher wage scales apply to CDL holders)
    Regular out-of-town travel as required
    Paid lodging and per diem when overnight travel is required
