We seek an experienced Dietary Manager to provide leadership and oversee all aspects of our food services department.

The Dietary Manager organizes, plans, directs, controls, and supervises functions and personnel within the dietary department, which provides food and nutrition services.

The Dietary Manager ensures the provision of quality food service and nutritional care.


Summary of Responsibilities of the Dietary Manager

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department.
• Ensure quality nutritional services are provided daily
• Ensure the dietary department is clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Manage the requisitions and inspection of food, supplies, and equipment and maintain stock levels.
• Ensure quality standards are met while achieving the department's budgetary, recruiting, training, and supervising.

Qualifications for Dietary Manager

• Food Service supervisor experience is required; at least three years' experience in longterm care is preferred.
• Must hold or acquire Certifications as a Dietary Manager (CDM), Certification as an Associate degree in Food Service Management or Nutrition (DT or DTR), or a fouryear degree in nutrition or a similar area.
• Must be able to relate professionally and positively to our residents, families, and staff and to work cooperatively with others

Education:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Supervising Experience: 3 years (preferred)

• Healthcare: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Dietary Manager (required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Bloomington, IL: Relocate before starting work (required)
