Head of Product Development (m/f/d) for our client based in
Leinfelden-Echterdingen in a
direct placement role.

Your responsibilities:


  • Taking responsibility for the conception and further development of our global product portfolio in the field of environmentally friendly aluminum systems, with a focus on the future of trade fair construction.
  • Leading and developing the product development team, including hiring, training, and motivating team members.
  • Planning, monitoring, and controlling product development projects to ensure they are completed within time and budget constraints.
  • Conducting market analysis to understand customer needs and ensure that products meet market requirements.
  • Close collaboration with the manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and marketing departments.

Your profile:


  • Completed degree in engineering or industrial engineering (m/f/d) with a focus on mechanical engineering, lightweight aluminum construction, design and development, or a similar field.
  • Alternatively, vocational training with subsequent further education as a technician (m/f/d).
  • Experience in product development is preferred, with some experience in personnel management.
  • Solid knowledge of CAD applications such as Inventor or AutoCAD.
