Job Summary:


We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist, Compensation with the Disney Entertainment Television Compensation team This role will have the opportunity to be part of a team that manages both broad-based and executive compensation for a dynamic business focused on creating compelling, cutting-edge television content.


The Specialist will work closely with the Compensation team, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Legal supporting implementation and administration of compensation programs including executive contract management and compensation processes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the management and administration of executive contracts including but not limited to:
  • Maintain executive contract management database with most up-to-date terms from agreements.
  • Prepare regular and adhoc reports.
  • Draft deal memos for Legal related to agreements.
  • Update Compensation Partners, Business Partners and HR leadership on status of contracts.
  • Run monthly actions report for promotions/adjustments and spot award budgets.
  • Track retention bonus and market disruption Long Term Incentive (LTI) awards.
  • Create new grade profiles and job families as needed.
  • Administer retention bonus award process.
  • Process onetime payments as needed.
  • Support with quarterly Long Term Incentive audit and submission.
  • Ongoing management and cleanup of Years in Level tracker
  • Assist Compensation team as needed with survey matches and submission.
  • Pay all vendor invoices.
  • Assist with Annual Comp Planning system configuration/setup as needed; run reports, etc.
  • Build and maintain successful partnerships with Business Partners, Legal, and Talent Acquisition to foster a collaborative working environment.

  • Experience with HR systems (SAP/Workday)
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word.


  • Bachelor's degree

  • Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, or Business.
  • 12 years of experience working in Compensation, HR, HRIS, Finance
