Tamila Selitsky, OB-GYN, PC is a board-certified physician that provides compassionate and understanding gynecological care for decades in the New York area.

Our spacious office is conveniently located in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn. We are committed to our patients throughout the whole treatment cycle.

We provide total access to our patients by making every effort to inform our patients of any abnormalities by personally discussing and informing them of all treatment options.

We use the latest methods and diagnostic tools to provide continuous care for our patients. Our goal is interacting with each patient to better their healthcare situations and goals.


Overview:

• Must be pleasant, easygoing, and able to work under pressure with patients
• Answer all incoming calls promptly and in a professional manner
• Schedule appointments for new and returning patients
• Verify benefits and inform patients of insurance coverage
• Collect applicable patient balances, copays, coinsurance, and deductibles
• Maintaining daily schedule and limiting patient wait time
• Perform clerical functions as directed by supervisor
• Be capable of answering general questions regarding the practice, physician, procedures, insurance and cost in accordance with office policy
• Possess a calm, reassuring, competent demeanor and the ability to be sensitive to patient needs and attitude

Required:

• Bilingual (specifically fluent in Russian/Ukrainian)
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

• Insurance verification skills
• Billing/coding skills
• Knowledge of EMR
• Experience obtaining authorizations
