Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) at Townsend

You will be employed in various areas of logistics. Your responsibilities include receiving goods and conducting visual inspections upon arrival. You will also be responsible for checking inventory, ensuring proper and appropriate storage, unpacking and repackaging goods, and preparing them for transport. Additionally, you will ensure smooth flow of goods from the warehouse to different company departments such as production and shipping. As part of the planning process, you will determine material requirements based on production and work schedules and arrange for the procurement of necessary raw materials, supplies, and operating materials. You will learn how to use logistics tools and forklifts for loading and unloading trucks, as well as moving and storing goods in the warehouse management system.

Education and Requirements
You are the ideal candidate if you have an interest and understanding of logistics processes, cleanliness, and organization. The three-year training program takes place in both the training company and the relevant vocational school.
