JOB TITLE:
WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
We are looking for someone that would like to learn about various operations throughout our warehouse. This role would give someone the opportunity to eventually transition into another department within the organization. We are rapidly growing and the potential for career growth is high.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments: Warehouse associates receive and verify the accuracy of shipments, ensuring that the items received match the purchase orders and are in good condition.
• Assist and learn various duties around the shop like head marking and threading.
• Inventory management: They assist in organizing, stocking, and maintaining inventory in the warehouse. This involves labeling, shelving, and tracking inventory levels to ensure efficient storage and timely fulfillment of orders.
• Order picking and packing: Warehouse associates fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items from the inventory, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. They may use manual or automated systems to locate and retrieve products.
• Equipment operation and maintenance: They operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move and transport goods. They are responsible for maintaining the equipment and reporting any malfunctions or damage.
• Safety and cleanliness: Warehouse associates ensure that the warehouse is clean, organized, and follows safety protocols. They may participate in regular safety training and inspections to maintain a secure work environment.
• Data entry and documentation: They may be responsible for recording inventory transactions, updating databases, and generating reports related to inventory levels, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy.
• Ability to work with all levels of company staff.
• Over one year?s experience in lift truck or fork lift would be ideal.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on occasion, perform heavy pushing/pulling of product and work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery.
