The Facilities Associate_ is primarily responsible to aide in managing the facilities and operations of the office. The Facilities Associate will work with Facilities Lead in determining service needs.

The Facilities Associate will be responsible for assistance in oversight, management, and inspection of space and allocation of maintenance in conjunction with the building and external vendors as well as point of contact with functions taking place in meeting spaces.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS_


The Facilities Associate provide support to Office Services Lead including: Service Request coordination, daily office operations, and providing general support service.

The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but FCB may identify other responsibilities of the position.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES_


Service

  • Responds proactively to prevent customer service failures.
  • Responds to Service Request tickets, including freight and service requests
  • Ensures protocol is maintained for vendor access to office space.
  • Proactively inspects the facility, systems, rooms, common areas, and report abnormalities to Office Services Lead.
  • Performs a range of services for meetings, including food and beverage requests, and conference room setups.
  • Maintaining conference rooms in between meetings throughout the day.
  • Performs daily inspections of services areas (pantries, restrooms and wellness rooms).
  • Confers with clients before, during and after their events, maintaining a positive relationship and responding to inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Effectively handle lastminute changes and resolve problems as they arise.
  • Maintaining common areas and conference rooms in between meetings throughout the day.
  • Greets and assists customers with a strong focus on providing good customer service.

  • Maintains a neat professional appearance at all times
  • Complies with all PPE policies.
  • Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
  • Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
  • Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
  • Participates in handson training with service experts (vendors, contractors, etc.)
  • Performs Daily Opening/Closing checklist.
  • Performs restacking of office employees and reconfiguration of spaces.
  • Participates in multiservice crosstraining exercises.
  • Performs duties that may require heavy lifting.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

DEGREE/DIPLOMA

  • High School Diploma

AREA OF STUDY

  • General

REQUIRED/PREFERRED

  • Handyman experience preferred

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

  • SafeServ Food Handler Certification (can be provided)
  • SafeServ COVID19 Precautions Training (can be provided)

REQUIRED/PREFERRED

  • Customer Service related work experience required
