Description
Position Purpose:
To develop, implement, and direct faith formation programs for preschool, elementary, junior high, and high school students. Collaborates with the pastoral leader, staff, and consultative bodies in implementing the mission of the parish. Provide support to our Sunday morning faith formation classes, lead and coordinate Catechists and scheduling. Coordinate group activities throughout the year, including Vacation Bible School. Prepare youth to be fully initiated via RCIA, adapted for Children.
This position will grow into the middle school and high school youth ministry leadership for the following year
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has elementary/ middle school/ high school teaching experience or has experience as a catechist as well as significant parish involvement.
