    Description

    Job Title: Software Engineer I at OpenGov

    This role will have you developing a top-tier SaaS solution that enhances efficiency, transparency, and accountability within government agencies. Your work will directly contribute to small business success and community well-being.



    Responsibilities:
    • Architect and develop code for a system of robust microservices and a React UI, serving a large user base
    • Collaborate within Agile teams to design, implement, and test platform features
    • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, crafting clean and efficient code
    • Execute iterative enhancements and facilitate code reviews and testing
    • Nurture OpenGov's Engineering culture and focus on innovation

    Requirements and Preferred Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in a computer science related discipline or equivalent experience
    • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Ember
    • Experience with backend frameworks and databases
    • Strong communication skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
    • Collaborative problem-solving skills under time constraints
