Job description

We are looking for a talented Medical Assistant to join our growing team. As the Medical Assistant, you will work in our lab processing samples, perform tests, and record results


Responsibilities

• Prepare samples/specimens for testing in house or send outs.
• Procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations
• Perform test HCT, Cholesterol, Rapid Covid, RSV, Flu, Strep.
• Document all activities, results and report back to physician and call patients
• Clean and sterilize work area, along with maintain.
• Ensure proper patient identification and labeling of samples.
• Provides basic customer service.

Requirements:

• Experience in medical technology or relevant field
• Prior years' experience in a similar role is a plus
• Good understanding of computers and technology
• Attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in Lab
