Description
The Children's Center at Purchase College is looking for qualified and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant for the School year. Working with children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years old. Our school program runs from the end of August to the End of July.

The Teacher Assistant will support the Head Teachers by helping create a caring and safe environment for children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education.

She/he must listen, work well, and communicate with others in a team environment.

Start Date August 20, 2024


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with implementing our curriculum in the classroom.
  • Actively engage with children in their activities.
  • Create a warm, welcoming, nurturing, and safe environment for all the children.
  • Keeping a clean and safe environment and following all COVID19 guidelines.
  • Providing supervision and assistants at all times.
  • Flexible and willing to assist according to the overall needs of the center.
  • Follow all center policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:


  • A minimum of a CDA in Early Childhood Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Experience minimum of 1 year of working with children 05 years old.

Pay:
From $35,000.00 per year

  • Childcare: 3 years (required)

License/Certification:
