This role is part of the Cross Product Readiness and Execution team within the Risk Data and Technology organisation of Enterprise Risk management and is responsible to oversee Risk's technology development.

The team provide oversight and governance in the technology investment process, and drive execution of cross cutting opportunities that reduce overlaps in product roadmap features across Risk.


The Risk Cross Product & Readiness Execution Lead Analyst will assist in the management of the Risk Technology Investment plan.

They will be the primary point of contact for Risk investment sponsors and will work closely with technology and product owners across Risk to manage investment requests through their lifecycle.


Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate business requirement reviews, ensuring that the business intake form is complete and that endtoend requirements are considered i.e., data quality remediation, EUC retirement, etc.
  • Review intake forms provided by the various teams and conduct review and challenge to validate the requirements.
  • Support the investment sponsor to conduct costbenefit analysis and prepare relevant business case materials to aid in funding decisions for strategic projects.
  • Create & manage Investments Requests in the Project Tracking System (PTS), acting as the Investment Sponsor delegate/coordinator. This includes review and validation of technology estimates and ensuring that investments benefits are accurately and clearly articulated.
  • Work with sponsor on prioritization of the requests, identifying opportunities to streamline across initiatives. This includes consideration to dependencies with other groups such as ICM, Finance etc to deliver initiatives on behalf of Risk.
  • Partnering with Risk CAO, Technology and Investment Sponsors to finalize the BoW and associated financial plan.
  • Manage investments throughout the year, including tracking benefits realization and progress of the project spend, facilitating change control approval for any scope changes including deferrals, and documenting accomplishments / functionality releases. This includes leveraging multiple systems such as PTS, JIRA, and Tableau to build a full picture of the investments at the various stages.
  • Support the quarterly Risk technology Investment Forum (Collaboration between Risk Transformation, Risk CAO, Finance, Risk stripes & Tech) process including preparation of material, tracking of actions etc.
  • Attend relevant risk stripe level technology governance forums to keep abreast of business priorities / challenges, impacting investments.
  • Conduct ongoing variance analysis to ensure that data is kept complete and accurate.
  • Prepare relevant materials and updates for senior Management and key stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:


  • 35+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred
  • Prior experience working in business management and/or technology related roles preferred.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Project Management and/or management reporting and analysis
  • Requires communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence others.
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  • Previous experience working across a large network of stakeholders, including Senior Leaders on a regular basis.
  • Ability to foster working relationships with other leaders across multiple lines of business and with support organizations.
  • Solid analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Power user on Tableau, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Education:


  • Bachelors/University degree, master's degree preferred.
