Responsibilities:
As part of the Network Engineering team, you will partner with others to lead the development, design, and integration of solutions supporting our networking initiatives.
You will have the opportunity to work across multiple teams to help deliver innovative solutions in support of EMs technology strategy.

you will design, develop, and modify many different elements of network technology.
You will be required to understand advanced methods, theories and research techniques that establish ongoing direction and implementation of the technology vision and strategy.
role is expected to serve as a subject matter expert in multiple areas of technology. In this role will represent your team in a positive manner within and outside of your department. You will lead implementations and provide viable recommendations for implementing new solutions.
You will also provide instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments, ensuring deadlines are met.
Daily activities include but are not limited to lifecycle research and remediation; network solution design, validation, and implementation; new technology research and recommendations; and interacting with other infrastructure and application teams.

Identify, influence, and drive opportunities to further our network and strategies
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and teams throughout IT to ensure alignment and partnership
Provide leadership in key interactions with others to define, analyze, and deliver customer solutions
Take an active role in applying advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to establish ongoing direction, specification, design, development and implementation of technology vision and strategy
Accurately scope deliverables including dependencies, risks and issues to ensure seamless delivery, technology effectiveness and security
Provide guidance and oversight on technical matters within a solution to ensure that the technologies are secure, interoperate and connect appropriately, and align with our information technology strategy
Collaborate with architects and recommend adjustments to the architecture to improve the overall quality of a solution
Listen to and evaluates customer needs to determine and implement high quality solutions that align with customer expectations; Identifies opportunities for improvement; ensures others are aligned with customer expectations
Actively coach, mentor, and teach others; use influence, expertise and leadership to support other teams as they implement technology solutions
Protect our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions; ensure security policy and procedure requirements are met; continuously identify opportunities for improving security and implements strategies to improve our security posture

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
5+ years of related experience
Extensive experience working in network design and implementation, network security, troubleshooting and operations
Expertise in network design and configuration
Experience with Cisco Routing and Switching Technologies for data center and campus networks utilizing Cisco IOS and NX-OS
Knowledge and/or previous experience with Meraki network products and management
Working knowledge of Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewall platforms
Previous experience in a technical leadership role focusing on network design and implementation
Understanding of Next Generation firewalls and associated security mechanisms such as VPN, IPSEC and SSL
Previous experience designing/configuring LAN/WAN/MAN environments
Previous experience with EBGP/IBGP Route control, AS Path filtering, route-maps, communities, local preference, metrics
Knowledge and experience with network automation best practices; Ansible experience preferred
Previous experience or working knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
Strong knowledge of switching protocols and link aggregation methodologies
Previous experience with OSPF including multiple area networks, route redistribution, and tagging
Previous experience with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) software-defined network solution
Previous experience with QoS design
Working knowledge of DNS and DHCP protocols
Previous experience testing and analyzing software releases impact to network security
Ability to clearly write process, analysis, and solution documentation
Proven ability to accurately interpret, document, and deliver customer requirements
Ability to successfully communicate technical details to a wide variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical individuals
Preferred:
CCNP or other Professional-level certifications
