Responsibilities for warehouse/driver person
Warehouse:
- Performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock.
- Ensuring products are stored in the correct location and in good condition.
- Checking stock for damage and wear, reporting faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and marking and labeling stock
- 8hour shifts, must be able to work a M-F 62pm work schedule
- Lifting / carrying product weighing 5075 pounds repeatedly over an 8hour work period
- Lifting / carrying and safely exchanging propane tanks weighing 60 pounds for forklifts
- Ability to stand and stoop for prolonged periods of time.
- Operating a pallet jack and/or forklift
- Operators must perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment and comply with all safety rules & procedures including personnel protective equipment.
- Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives as required.
- The employee will be working indoors and outdoors.
- Exposure to clamp lifts, forklifts, pallet carts, pallet jacks
- Expected to operate the truck in compliance with all state and federal safety and administrative requirements.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications for warehouse person
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Individuals must be reliable, dependable, and able to work as a strong team member.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in decision making and creativity in problem solving.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to successfully work with internal customers on a wide range of concerns.
- Commitment to work productively and safely.
Responsibilities for warehouse/driver person
Driver:
- Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating the delivery vehicle.
- Arriving at destinations on schedule
- Fulfilling administrative needs, like office pickups
- Researching and planning for traffic, construction, and weather delays
- Interacting with clients professionally at all times
- Ensuring that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
- Conducting basic maintenance checks
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
- The driver should notify any mishaps or accidents to supervisors immediately.
- Delivery drivers must follow regional and state driving rules and road regulations.
- The driver should inform managers about any significant repairs and maintenance of delivery vehicles.
- Delivery drivers must have excellent customer service skills and a sense of time management.
Qualifications for driver
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid commercial driver's license or CDL
- Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Individuals must be reliable, dependable, and able to work as a strong team member.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in decision making and creativity in problem solving.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to successfully work with internal customers on a wide range of concerns.
- Commitment to work productively and safely.
Pay:
$45, $60,000.00 per year
