We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to help in our multi-family accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, maintenance of accurate financial records, team building, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead daily accounting operations, including month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
Review general ledger entries, balance sheets, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness
Oversee cash flow management and forecasting on a daily and monthly basis.
Prepare financial statements and reports for senior management
Conduct general ledger reconciliations
Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
Perform financial analysis to support business decisions
Utilize financial concepts to provide strategic recommendations to senior management
Collaborate with internal and external auditing agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate audits
Proficient in accounting software, Excel, and Adobe
Lead and mentor Accounting team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
Skills:
Proven experience in regulatory reporting and compliance
Strong knowledge of other accounting software, Excel, and Adobe
Expertise in accrual accounting and general ledger reconciliation
Ability to analyze financial data
Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial concepts
