Air General, a national cargo handling company, is seeking a
Regional Account Manager, Operations.

The
Regional Account Manager, Operations, is primarily responsible for the strategic development and operational oversight for select international airline partners.

This position will work with the Operational team and stations to oversee and improve performance, training, and customer service. To improve the cargo operations throughout the system while building and maintaining strong relationships with our airline partners. (This is a remote position, reporting into Home Office Operations.)


Essential Job Functions:


  • Prior experience and knowledge of (Lufthansa, Air France, Copa) cargo operations including Icargo and ICAP
  • Oversee the operational performance within the assigned airline partners (Lufthansa, Air France, Copa Airlines).
  • Establish cargo handling ground services standards across the region in accordance with corporate Key Performance Indicators and develop workable strategies to achieve and maintain these standards in each station.
  • Oversee airline training and safety issues relating to station operations.
  • Lead and drive operational excellence by using available service performance tools and established Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
  • Conducts operational meetings with regionalbased station leaders and airline partners as required.
  • Prepare quarterly business reviews for airline partners and lead QBR meetings.
  • Develops and recommends policies, procedures, and actions to achieve and maintain high levels of customer service for all external and internal customers.
  • Develops and maintains internal training modules and programs for (LH, Air France and Copa) Cargo operations.
  • Schedules station visits to ensure personnel provide a consistently high level of service and comply with Air General and our airline partner's company procedures and service level agreements.
  • Lead and facilitate the setup of new stations in conjunction with ground cargo operations directives.
  • Monitors regional and station contracts to ensure vendors comply with contract provisions and servicelevel agreements.
  • Must be LH Dangerous Goods certified to handle and accept dangerous goods.
  • Must be Air General ULD Build TTT and familiar with aircraft ground operations including aircraft ramp and warehouse activities, and those activities in support of our flight operations.
  • Must be AG Security TTT in all security methods.

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience in airline cargo operations.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:


  • LH Cargo ULD Build Certified

Other Skills and Abilities:


  • Proven working experience with the Lufthansa Cargo account.
  • Experience in customer support is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google, and CRM software (a plus).
  • Strong written, verbal, presentations and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Travel as needed.
