Job Summary and Qualifications:
To provide direct observation and patient care of the assigned patient and assure a safe environment for the care of the assigned patient under the direction of the RN, Nursing Supervisor/Manager while providing superior patient care and customer service to patients, patient families, physicians, and all hospital staff.

- Observe patient behaviors, communicates and physical or behavioral changes to the care team while providing a safe environment
- Appropriately responds to patient aggression or violence where appropriate.
- Establishes effective relationships with client, family, coworkers, and supervisor.
- Achieves professional goals set during previous evaluation period
- Demonstrates professional behavior and conduct at all times
- Demonstrates and maintains good employee/peer relationship and teamwork
- Demonstrates good communication and customer service skills with patients, families, physicians and healthcare team.
- Transports patients in a safe and timely manner using appropriate equipment for patient age and weight.
- Participates in Performance Improvement activities
- Demonstrates ability to consistently perform technical skills and follow through with assignments
- Prioritize work duties and works well under stressful situations
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
