Restaurateur/Hotelier Michael Zislis is excited to announce his latest project - a reimagination of Downtown Manhattan Beach's iconic Manhattan Beach Brewing Company Opened as a working brew pub in 1991 and renamed brewco in 2010, brewco closed its doors on January 31st and will reopen as an elevated social house gathering spot that embodies the spirit of Manhattan Beach.
Our restaurant cultivates a warm and inviting atmosphere for lunch, seamlessly transitioning into a memorable dining experience in the evening.
From interior trees to natural stone, brass accents, and tiled touches, every corner of brewco exudes coastal charm and relaxed intimacy.
Our environment feels sophisticated, yet modern with earthiness, refinement, and classic elegance.What does brewco serve? Our food is true Californian, emphasizing dishes that are driven by local and sustainable ingredients with attention to seasonality and on the bounty of the region. We will serve rotisserie chicken, wood grilled meats and fish, fresh salads, sushi and incredible appetizers. Each dish is crafted with care and creativity, leaving you feeling special and taken care of with every bite. brewco features an extensive selection of craft beers, curated eclectic wines, and a cutting edge cocktail program.
COMPENSATION:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Warm, friendly, caring and outgoing character.
- 2+ years of restaurant experience.
- OpenTable experience required.
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
- Able to greet and seat customers accurately and efficiently.
- Make a positive impression at all times.
- Guest oriented with high focus on delivering quality service.
- Strong communication skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to attend to customers' needs and possess a strong desire to fulfill the requests of the customers at all times.
- Ability to engage in casual conversation with customers without sounding too personal.
- Handling pressure well along with the ability to set priorities and make decisions based on quality.
- Must be well dressed and well spoken.
- Full time open availability

- Monitor the open dining room sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables.
- Estimate and monitor wait times for guests.
- Ensure that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
- Answer telephone in a warm, friendly, professional manner with a pleasant speaking voice and phone etiquette.
- Book reservations with our Open Table System.
- Be able to follow instructions in both written and verbal form.
- Thorough knowledge of our food and beverage and ability to explain them to guests.
- Actively practice exceptional hospitality, utilizing S.A.N.E., Finding the Yes, and Collecting and Connecting Dots.
- Embody and practice the Company Purpose (Creating Happiness) and Four Core Qualities (Friendliness, Show, Delight and Promptness).
- Follow standards of service/mystery shop standards with each and every guest, each and every time.
- Be a Creative Problem Solverdo what's needed to make the guest happy.
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings and supplemental training sessions, being attentive and taking notes when appropriate.
