- Establish and manage the material planning, production scheduling, and outbound logistics processes for automotive service parts.
- Develop and maintain a process for managing supplier service order releases to support 100% on-time and in-full deliveries. This entails leveraging Bollinger's PLEX ERP system to provide timely demand planning information, optimize component inventory levels, and ensure accurate inventories.
- Work cross-functionally to optimize set up of PLEX ERP system parameters to accurately support scheduling, inventory management, and shipping/receiving activities.
- Assist with developing standards and controls for material handling, storage, part availability, and system transactions.
- Actively assist with establishing robust inventory management processes for the following functions: receiving, storage, kitting, repackaging, and shipping. This requires engaging with warehouse personnel, manufacturing, purchasing, materials, warranty, and outside suppliers to optimize packaging designs, inventory levels, storage areas, system transactions, and part movement throughout the processes.
- Support shipping and receiving activities at the warehouse as needed to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Manage inbound supplier and outbound customer freight. Coordinate with 3PL partners to establish efficient carrier routing guides and ensure effective delivery to customers.
- Actively assist with tracking and improving metrics for service inbound/outbound delivery performance, inventory accuracy, schedule attainment, and logistics cost.
- Support and serve as point of contact for service part deliveries to customers and dealers.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of materials management, production planning, scheduling, and logistics experience at an automotive OEM or tier one manufacturer.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems (preferably PLEX), AIAG MMOG guidelines, lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and value stream mapping.
- Extensive experience managing inventory moves, accuracy, and storage methods.
- Familiar with Bill of Process (BOP), Bill of Material (BOM), and Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM).
- Possess a go-getter attitude and high level of initiative.
- Ability to work in a team and individually with limited supervision.

Job DescriptionDescription:Bollinger Motors is seeking an enthusiastic Service Parts Coordinator to create service part repackaging schedules, manage supplier service order releases, develop effective and efficient inventory management processes, and facilitate supplier & customer logistics. This position reports to the MP&L Manager. This is an in-person role located at the company's manufacturing facility and warehouse in Livonia, MI with occasional travel to our headquarters in Oak Park, MI.
