- Valid certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Michigan.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive psychological services within educational settings.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development.
- Strong understanding of special education regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations.
- Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Assist in the implementation of school-wide initiatives to promote positive behavior and mental health awareness.
