Description

• Follow cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
• Clean all assigned areas, furnishings, and fixtures according to established housekeeping procedures
• Organizes and inspects (in all areas) all furnishings for wear and defects that could be a safety concern and reports to director of housekeeping
• Cleans all bathroom areas (resident & private): cleans disinfects all fixtures, floors and walls as directed. Washes all windows and mirrors. Replenishes all bathroom supplies
• Clean walls, windows, doors, and ceilings: spot cleans between washings. Disinfects as needed.
• Terminal cleaning/disinfecting when residents have deceased, are discharged, or if there is a transfer and room needs prepared for new occupant
• Performs all cleaning duties in an isolation area of unit
• Maintains equipment used in performing duties
• Window cleaning inside /out
• All other duties as assigned

• Wash, dry & fold soiled clothing protectors and residents personal laundry.
• Return laundry to the residents room.
• Clean and maintain a hazard free work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strenuous physical activity involves excessive walking, standing, lifting and bending
• Able to stretch arms above head: bend to clean under beds / furniture
• On your feet most of the workday
• Pushes, pulls, lifts, cleaning equipment and supplies
• Use of step ladders are available to reach high places
• Subject to heavy dust and housekeeping chemicals
• Subject to falls or slipping on wet / soiled floors

• Holidays
• Weekends as needed

• Are you available to work every other weekend as required?
