    Description

    ** IT Service Delivery Consultant**

    75365 Zurich is currently searching for an IT Service Delivery Consultant to work in our IT Infrastructure and Operations Service Management team. This position will be remote within the Minnesota, Overland Park, Schaumburg or Owings Mills area.

    IT Services (ITS) manages day-to-day IT infrastructure service for Zurich North America on a national scale, in partnership with our global partners and both our internal customers and our external suppliers and in accordance with contract requirements, SLAs and internal agreements.

    The IT Service Delivery Consultant provides consultancy services, acting as a bridge between internal IT colleagues and internal stakeholders. In addition, the IT Service Delivery Consultant will be expected to work proactively to identify and strengthen service capabilities at the technical and business process levels.

    Responsibilities may include, but not necessarily limited to, the following:

    Change, Incident and Problem Management

    Utilize collaborative skills to provide functional expertise for the introduction of new solutions and services in support of core IT Service Management functions.

    Collaborates with all peers and partners (internal & external)

    Monitor systems availability/performance and takes adequate actions for problem prevention in own area of responsibility.

    Supports business projects in planning stages to support consistent implementation within existing (planned) infrastructure.

    Contributes to the positive impact of the service improvement programs through effective use KPIs.

    Business Travel, as required

    Extended Hours during Peak Periods/Shift Work/Holiday Work, as required

    Regular Predictable Attendance

    Visibility in the Office, as required

    Participation in an on-call rotation

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree ad 3 or more years of experience in the information technology area

    OR

    Zurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the information technology area

    OR

    High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the information technology area

    AND

    MS Office Experience

    Knowledge of information technology operations

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience working in IT infrastructure services within the insurance industry

    Knowledge of IT Service Management functions of change incident and problem management

    Experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships

    Collaborating in team environment

    Excellent communication skills

    Strong analytical skills

    Customer service experience

    Strong verbal and written communication skills
