- Nurture strong relationships between the HR Department and the assigned Division/Department, ensuring seamless integration of HR services.
- Collaborate with the Dean of the College/Department for effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide accurate and timely information to facilitate staffing planning and analysis in coordination with financial guidelines.
- Assist in manpower planning, recruitment, and workforce management for the designated area.
- Act as a primary contact for line managers on staff management, performance, and welfare issues.
- Offer guidance on employee relations, legislation interpretation, and dispute resolution.
- Support managers in implementing change initiatives and training programs.
- Handle administrative tasks related to HR record-keeping and compliance.
- Lead and contribute to HR projects aligning with College objectives and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, liberal arts, or equivalent.
- Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver's license required, SPHR with California designation preferred.
- Experience: 4-5 years of HR management/generalist experience, including project management exposure.

Job Purpose:
The Human Resources Business Partner, under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources/CHRO, is tasked with aligning HR strategies with the College's objectives. This role involves delivering professional HR services, both strategically and operationally, to senior managers within a specified Division or Department, including the Office of the Dean of the College. Furthermore, the HR Business Partner collaborates with management and staff, alongside other HR Department members, to address various aspects such as employee relations, budgeting, reporting, recruitment, and policy oversight, thereby fostering a cohesive approach to HR activities across the College.

Bi-lingual proficiency in English/Spanish is advantageous. Essential skills include HR management, employment regulations, change management, mediation, and effective communication. Annual Salary:
An attractive annual salary ranging from $98,000 to $113,000 is on offer, accompanied by a competitive benefits package. Salary considerations will be based on educational background, experience, and performance.
Working Hours:
This full-time position entails regular hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with potential weekend, holiday, and travel requirements based on College needs.
