Pennsylvania Legislative Services (PLS) is looking for an Application Developer to assist in the development and management of various legislative data systems to support our exciting and growing business.
Responsibilities Include:
- Technical support of PLS's various services on which you will be completely trained, in order to guide our business and support our vision.
- Daytoday monitoring of systems from a technical point of view to ensure everything is running as expected.
- Continuous development and optimization of processes and tools
- Participation in critical projects to help test and validate new functionalities in the systems to ensure stability and quality during and after deployments.
- Collaborating closely with internal staff as well as external development partners
- Define, document, and maintain system manuals and routines involved to ensure stability and quality of systems.
- Proactively suggesting possible changes and optimizations to the process, tools, and systems,
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in working with Microsoft Azure is a must.
- Additional experience: HTML, CSS, PHP, NodeJS, Mongo, WordPress, and SQL Databases
- Ability to think creatively with strong investigative skills
- Strong prioritization and time management skills as well as strong sense of commitment and accountability.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment: Monday
- Friday
- Work hours: 9:00AM 5:00PM
- Starting Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
- Location: Primarily remote however PA Legislative Services is headquartered in Harrisburg, PA.
Pay:
From $60,000.00 per year
