This is a bargaining unit position.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:

GS-07:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector

Examples of specialized experience:
1) A demonstrated practical knowledge in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, or related areas; 2) Review production activities and capabilities in light of contract quality requirements; 3) Review written quality or inspection procedures for adequacy, and evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of quality/inspection systems, including sampling plans; 4) Analyzing quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality/inspection system; 5) Computing data, summarizing results, and preparing reports or charts depicting pertinent relationships using statistical methods.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector

Examples of specialized experience:
1) Demonstrating knowledge in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, or related areas such as aircraft paint, E-2 aircraft, and Vertical Lift aircraft; 2) Performing analysis by reviewing sketches, engineering drawings and data, pertinent specifications, and available equipment to identify characteristics critical to product acceptability; 3) Conducting inspections and audits of materials, products, processes, and services for conformance to specifications and requirements.; 4) Analyzing data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality or verification program; 5) Preparing technical reports documenting inspections, testing results, or deficiencies and recommending corrective action.
