    Description
    Sutter Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for an ongoing position in Castro Valley, California.

    This position involves assessing and providing respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices.

    Tasks require scientific knowledge and technical skill with a familiarity of usual equipment and therapy used in respiratory care. A registered respiratory therapist certification and basic life support healthcare provider certification are required. Preferred experience is typically acquired in respiratory care management. This is a non-exempt position that is part-time with variable days of the week and requires every other weekend. The pay range is $51.52 to $67.22 per hour.

    The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.

    This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.

    Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.

    Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
