The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a
Global Supplier Diversity Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in
Arlington, VA.**
Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead business transformation, drive digital transformation, system enhancements and automation of organizational systems and tools.
  • Leads training initiatives to educate internal stakeholders on small business and supplier diversity requirements, programs, and systems
  • Drive compliance reviews with the Small Business Administration, DCMA, Internal/External Audit, and other oversight agencies as required.
  • Responsible for preparing and submitting semiannual Individual Subcontracting Reports (ISRs) and additional small business reports as needed
  • Full understanding of Small Business Programs and federal contract requirements related to small business laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  • Works with Supply Chain, Contracts Managers, and Program Managers to ensure compliance with FAR Part 1
  • Collaborates with Supply Chain and business line leadership to ensure appropriate identification, qualification, and inclusion of small businesses and diverse suppliers.
  • Establishes, directs, and manages small business subcontracting forecast development and subcontracting plans for multiple programs and program capture activities.
  • Works with proposal teams to interpret small business requirements, identify and vet small businesses for opportunities to support program requirements, provide small business subcontracting past performance information, and prepare small business participation and commitment plans and individual small business subcontracting plans for federal proposals and contracts.
  • Monitors adherence to subcontracting plan goals on active, reportable programs during contract execution and works with program teams to improve subcontracting performance.
  • Analyzes data and produces monthly, quarterly, and semiannual reports for internal analysis and reporting.
  • Acts as advocate to ensure maximum practicable subcontracting opportunities are offered to Small Businesses (SB), Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), and small businesses in Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone)
  • Interacts with internal and external personnel on a variety of key initiatives often requiring coordination with various business functions across the enterprise (i.e. Mentor Protégé, SBIR/STTR, HBCU/MSI)
  • Manages workloads, priorities, and deadline requirements to meet the needs of internal/external customers with respect to proposals, data analysis, reporting, and Adhoc requests and approvals

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing a team
  • 5+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
  • 5+ years of experience driving forward business transformation initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience in a compliance related role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience working across organizations and crossfunctional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation and completion
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer facing role engaging with internal and/or external customers
