- Strong commitment to ensuring safe project execution
- Projects range from building foundation explorations to transportation projects requiring bridge, slope evaluation/stabilization and retaining wall foundation recommendations and pavement design.
- Prepare cost estimate for moderate to complex Geotechnical and Materials Testing projects
- Prepare geotechnical reports including maps, drawings, aerial photographs and soil boring logs
- Formulate field exploration, sampling, and material testing approach to address specific project issues
- Honesty and integrity, sense of ownership, collaboration, persistence, pro-activity, organization, and planning are all expectations the person in this role.
- Possessing a strong understanding of the construction industry in general, and construction materials testing and special inspection services specifically
- Interest in Project management - tracking scope, schedule, quality, and budget
- Interest in Business Development - Identifying, attracting, and securing a new, diverse client base
- Minimum a four-year degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field
- 2 - 5 years of experience providing geotechnical engineering services
- The successful candidate must possess a valid driver's license along with a clean driving record and can work in a variety of locations.
- The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains associated with construction projects is required.
