The Die Designer is responsible for designing and developing dies for use in the manufacturing of metal parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining, 3D modeling, and tool making.Responsibilities:
Design and develop dies for use in the manufacturing of metal parts
Work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure that dies meet specifications
Use CNC machines and 3D printers to prototype and test dies
Document die designs and specifications
Stay up-to-date on the latest die design technologies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in die design
Strong understanding of CNC machining, 3D modeling, and tool making
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
