- First Shift
- Lead and coach local EHS staff in the performance of their duties. Monitor individual and team goals and ensure alignment with the organization's strategies and objectives to drive EHS performance improvement. Cultivate a learning environment through team member growth and development.
- Leads the implementation and sustainment of the EHS management system for a Vermeer manufacturing facility.
- Coach site operational leaders to be visible EHS advocates.
- Assists in the development of corporate-level EHS strategy.
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety and seven years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist certification preferred.
- Prior experience with EHS Management System approach preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of relevant State and Federal rules and regulations required.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Occasional travel is expected of this position.
