JOB SUMMARY:
An Event Technician is responsible for setting up and operating basic/small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses daily cover sheets to determine the equipment scheduled for set up and for strike.
- Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and strike of basic audiovisual equipment.
- Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day.
- Maintain and cultivate positive public relations with the Hotel account.
- Maintain positive employee relations.
- Effectively utilize the company's business software.
- Ensure client billing is completed accurately and on time.
- Manage onsite inventory according to company standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- A high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self and company.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Some computer skills required.
- Ability to work on a Smoke-Free campus.
- Strong desire to learn.
