If you are a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for pediatric care, we have an exciting opportunity for you at our Lancaster Surgery Center Join our team where we prioritize exceptional patient care and offer a nurturing environment for our team.


As an RN with us, you'll play a pivotal role in providing Pre-Op, OR, and PACU nursing care to our young patients in our ambulatory surgical center.

Your duties will include supervising both direct and indirect nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Office Hours: 6:30am - 4:30pm
Shifts: 6:45am - 3:15pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm


Location: 2160 Noll Drive, Suite 300, Lancaster, PA 17603


What You Will Do:


  • Assist in Pre-OP / OR/ PACU
  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the preoperative
  • Coordinate all aspects of nursing care with preoperative team to achieve defined patient outcomes
  • Works closely with the surgeons and the anesthesia care providers to guide the child safely through the postoperative period
  • Provide nursing care patients in post op, continuously monitoring and assessing patients during their stay
  • Assisting patients recovering from anesthesia
  • Assessing the patient's health status and previous medical history
  • Provide appropriate education to the patient?s family regarding their individualized plan of care for at home recovery

What You Will Need:


  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
  • At least one year of experience as an RN preferred
  • Previous experience working in a pediatric or ambulatory surgery setting a plus
  • Ability to obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of start date
  • Current State RN License
