The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a full-time Academic Payroll Supervisor to join the Academic Payroll Office with our Semel Institute.

You will work with the team to maximize the efficiency of the Academic Payroll Office.


Primary duties include:

  • Serve as primary resource for payroll policies and collective bargaining agreements
  • Supervise and train professional and skilled technical employees
  • Analyze and resolve payroll issues
  • Interpret policies (e.g. fiscal management, HR, contract/grants, resource management)
  • Processing all payroll and salary transactions including any payroll adjustments in UCPath
  • Maintaining accurate records and monitoring salary and benefit related data
  • Performing other routine payroll transactions
- * Salary range: $64,800/yr-$137,600/yr
