Responsibilities and Duties:

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical limitations and potential for improvement.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as heat or ice.
Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal progress and outcomes for patients.
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques for at-home practice.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care for patients.
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment sessions.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients and their families.
Ability to analyze and interpret data, such as medical reports and diagnostic tests.
Physical strength and stamina to assist patients in performing exercises and other physical activities.
Compassion and empathy for patients experiencing pain or limited mobility.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about patient care.
