We Are Hiring:

Department:Physical Therapy

-
Schedule: Full time. M-F 8:00am-6:00pm. Ability to work until 6:00pm at least 2 nights a week.

What You Will Do:
Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

  • Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
  • Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
  • Document treatment interventions given.
  • May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:


  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences:
1-2 years of outpatient physical therapy preferred. Willing to treat patients in aquatic therapy, ortho and neuro outpatient areas. Possibility of floating to one other outpatient physical therapy office.
