    Fabricator*As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and crafting metal products with precision, utilizing your expertise in cutting, bending, and welding materials to exact specifications. Your proficiency in deciphering technical drawings and blueprints will be invaluable, coupled with your extensive experience operating a diverse range of metal fabrication tools and machinery. This position works Monday to Thursday, 6am 4pm, as part of our first shift team. Overtime may be required at times.

Responsibilities:


  • Review technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine fabrication requirements.
  • Utilize a variety of fabrication equipment such as saws, lathes, drill presses, and grinders to cut, bend, and shape metal components.
  • Weld or join metal components using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
  • Assemble metal products ensuring accuracy, functionality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks to maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following procedures and regulations.
  • Regularly maintain and clean fabrication tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Assist with smallscale production malfunctions and independently address required repairs on the Paint Line, when vendor intervention is not required.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fabrication techniques.

Qualifications:


  • 1+ years experience as a Fabricator in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, tools, and machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques and procedures, specifically MIG, TIG, and ARC.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in metal fabrication or related field is advantageous.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in various physical positions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities to address fabrication process issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers.
