RESPONSIBILITIES OF A MEMBERSHIP EXPERIENCE DIRECTOR:

Supervise and oversee membership staff and all operations of the membership department.
Work closely with Associate Executive Director to develop operational objectives and innovative approaches for membership growth and retention.
Assist to develop and monitor the branch membership budget to ensure fiscal objectives are met.
Develop and maintain positive collaborative relationships with other community organizations.
Personally leads the member experience by working at the welcome center during prime time and other times as needed or directed by the business needs or association expectations.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE A
MEMBERSHIP EXPERIENCE DIRECTOR:

Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, recreation, business or equivalent.
Minimum of two years in membership services, marketing, sales, and/or customer services.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations including members, peers/coworkers, supervisors, and volunteers.
Ability to learn and retain information related to programs, services, and membership options.
Ability to handle conflict management in a positive manner.
A Passion for working with others and developing strong teams.
