Almac Group is currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for our Souderton, PA location.

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for all material receipt, handling and storage procedures including the picking and processing of work orders, material move orders and all other material requests in Pennsylvania.

In addition, inventory management systems will be operated as per existing procedures; all transactions must be made in an accurate and timely fashion thus ensuring stock accuracy and control is maintained at all times.

The post holder is responsible for providing cover for the Associate Director/Warehouse Manager when delegated to do so and when absent.

The post holder will manage their own team within the department but will also be able to deputize and assist the other Supervisors when required to do so.

The post holder will assist the Associate Director/Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day management of the Warehouse function, ensuring compliance with cGMP and in line with health and safety requirements.

Materials are to be managed, controlled, and made available in an efficient manner in order to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Deputize for the Associate Director/Warehouse Manager as required at departmental meetings where representation is deemed necessary.
Generate and implement new or amended processes/procedures as the business requires to achieve efficiency and meet the needs of the business.
Provide cover for the Associate Director/Warehouse Manager in terms of managing the overall Warehouse function by ensuring goals of daily operations are met without interruption to:
Production operations
Distribution processes
Provide support for the Associate Director/Warehouse Manager to ensure that operational targets within the Warehouse are met supported by the following:
Warehouse KPI's
Operational budget
Business project representation
Internal/external customer demands
Personal and product safety

Qualifications:

Required Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree

Required Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years warehouse/inventory work experience or 3year Almac warehouse experience

Preferred experience:

Pharmaceutical Experience
Warehouse Experience
Written Procedures Experience

Required Knowledge:

Comprehension of Complex Warehouse Product Movement Processes

Preferred Knowledge:

Working in a cGMP environment
