Launched in 2019, OneTeam Partners is a joint venture involving the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), MLB Players Association (MLBPA), Women's National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA), MLS Players Association (MLSPA), US Women's National Team Players Association (USWNTPA) and NWSL Players Association (NWSLPA), along with partners HPS Investment Partners, General Atlantic, and Morgan Stanley Tactical Value.


OneTeam maximizes the collective value of athletes' name, image and likeness rights through group licensing, games and interactive, consumer products, sponsorship marketing, content and production, business building and venture investing.


OneTeam represents the commercial interests of more than 20,000 athletes spanning various sports, encompassing members from the NFLPA, MLBPA, WNBPA, MLSPA, USWNTPA, NWSLPA, U.S.

Rugby PA, and the League of Legends Championship Series PA, alongside thousands of college athletes.


Primary duties and responsibilities
include:


  • Define and execute a category and GTM strategy for OneTeam's new Experiences business, identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities on behalf of our athletes and partner PAs.
  • Source, negotiate and close new partnerships, deploying varying commercial approaches from brand licensing to coinvestment to build an industryleading experiences portfolio across varied experiential business categories.
  • Build and analyze business models to evaluate new partnership opportunities, staying abreast of market developments, benchmarks and best practices.
  • Establish strong relationships with bestinclass operators across focus business categories.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying new areas of opportunity for OneTeam within the experiences ecosystem, and communicating OneTeam's unique offering for prospective partners.
  • Partner with OneTeam's Finance and PA Partnerships teams to lead on strategic planning, budgeting and longrange planning for the Experiences business.
  • Work with OneTeam's Legal team to execute licensing agreements and other partnership arrangements.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 710 years experience in the sports, entertainment and/or experiential/themed entertainment industries.
  • Extensive track record of sourcing, negotiating and executing highvalue commercial deals.
  • Fluency deploying varying partnership models from brand licensing to coinvestment.
  • Knowledge and curiosity in the wider experiences landscape enthusiasm and interest in unlocking new areas of opportunity for IP owners.
  • A true selfstarter and hustler, with an entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to formulate and deliver against new business growth initiatives.
  • A genuine passion for sports and experiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailoriented, resilient, organized and scrappy.
