The Outreach Worker works directly with the Community Engagement Coordinator to grow our Community Engagement Department by assisting with event planning, attending health fair events, as well as collaborating and executing community outreach.
The Community Engagement Department works to grow our patient population as well as our brand, both inside and outside of our 23 care centers.
The Outreach Worker will work in collaboration with the Community Engagement Coordinator in finding innovative ways to introduce FPA Women's Health to the community through event planning, social media, and outreach efforts and opportunities.
The Outreach Worker will assist in preparing for outreach events, tabling at Health Fairs, and representing FPA Women's Health during all forms of outreach both in and out of the office.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
- Must be willing to work weekends when necessary.
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
- Occasional travel to events with reliable transportation is required.
- Must have strong communication skills. Daily communication with both care center staff and the executive team is required.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing the highest level of customer service.

- Ability to relate to diverse communities.
- Possess a warm and caring manner.
- Protect the confidentiality and security of patient information and adhere to HIPPA regulations.
- Strong interest and passion for Women's Health and Reproductive Rights
- Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
