American Trading International, Inc (ATI) is currently seeking a
Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.

We are seeking long-term growth and career-minded rock stars to join our team American Trading International, Inc.

(ATI) is a service-oriented export trading company providing domestic and international companies the opportunity to import and export products to new and existing markets.

ATI exports USA food and beverages to over 80 markets worldwide.

We are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to correspond with our domestic suppliers & manufacturers to secure product for ATI.


What you'll do:


  • Review and update open orders in the OOR (Open Order Report) from suppliers.
  • Create and facilitate OOR meetings with suppliers on weekly, biweekly, monthly or other schedules.
  • Drive relationships with strategic suppliers ensuring great communication.
  • Responsible for creating and updating purchase orders in SAP with changes from suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure orders are produced and loaded as ordered.
  • Maintain item master data for items including dimensions, costs, and other specifications. Ensure this data is up to date in ATI systems and communicated to the rest of the company.
  • Provide direct input on product pricing from suppliers and keep accurate in SAP.
  • Provide data to teammates and other departments as requested.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate configuration of assemblies (BOMs) for all items.
  • Support Coordinators, Senior Coordinators, Associate Managers, and others in executing procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, purchase order creation, and order tracking.
  • Coordinate order workflow between Freight, Outbound and Documentation Teams.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and other procurementrelated documentation.

What you'll bring:


  • A bachelor's degree in business, or related discipline, and two to four years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a similar field with significant understanding of basic procurement and sourcing functions or any similar combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of purchase order terms, pricing, lead times and other procurement essentials.
  • Strong organizational, decision making and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Must possess the ability to execute multiple projects and assignments with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Must have strong task completion skills, ensuring prompt delivery.
  • Professional response to inquiries, problems, or complaints.
  • The ability to guide team members to the appropriate staff for specific information and assistance is essential.
  • Ability to escalate issues appropriately to Manager.
  • Must be able to delegate work to Assistants / Team Members and verify tasks are completed correctly.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to work is essential.

What you'll be paid:

Commensurate with experience, you will be paid $ $28.80.
