Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team.

The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

This role requires strong knowledge of workers compensation, risk management, compliance management, and occupational health.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Provide training to employees on safety protocols, including proper equipment usage and emergency procedures
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with management to develop and maintain a culture of safety throughout the organization
• Manage workers compensation claims process, including filing claims, coordinating with insurance providers, and facilitating returntowork programs
• Stay uptodate on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure compliance
• Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics and generate reports for management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
• OSHA 10hour, OSHA 30hour for construction
• Experience in risk management and implementing effective safety programs
• Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety metrics is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train employees on safety protocols
• Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to identify hazards and implement appropriate solutions
• Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) are a plus

Pay:
$85, $110,000.00 per year
