    Job Title: Tool and Die Maker - 1st Shift
    Location: Washington, PA


    Job Description:
    We are currently seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker for our 1st Shift, with core hours from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. As a vital member of our team, you'll directly impact the quality and efficiency of our products. You'll have the opportunity to enhance your technical skills in die making and contribute to shaping the future of steel manufacturing processes in a dynamic environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Design, construct, and maintain progressive dies for mechanical power presses.
    Perform regular maintenance and repairs on progressive dies to ensure optimal performance.
    Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality, adhering to strict manufacturing standards.
    Troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in die-making processes.
    Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams.
    Ensure a safe working environment, following all safety guidelines and protocols.
    Manage materials used in die-making, ensuring proper storage and handling.
    Maintain accurate records of die maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
    Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    Basic Requirements: High school diploma or GED, authorized to work in the U.S., ability to machine and construct tooling to drawing specifications, ability to read blueprint drawings, familiarity with machining a variety of tool steel material.
    Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree related to Tool and Machining or 3 years of experience as a die maker, experience in building die tooling for stamping/manufacturing processes, welding TIG/MIG experience, familiarity with steel heat treating process.
