Description

York Avenue Day School is seeking a dedicated educator for a full time position working with children in a Ones or Twos classroom to start on August 26th for the school year.

The hours are from 11:15 to 6:15pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements for Assistant Teacher:

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood (preferred), Associate's Degree, or minimum some college credits
Minimum two years of experience in an Early Childhood setting
At least 21 years of age

Responsibilities:

Work with children in a classroom setting
Plan and implement ageappropriate activities
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with young children
Knowledge of early childhood education principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
