Job Summary


The Application Analyst is responsible to understand and conform to HonorHealth's project and change management methodologies and may be responsible for leading low to moderate complexity projects leveraging this framework.

In addition, this position requires an on-call rotation facilitating off hour work functions in support of incidents, upgrades, patches, and project task fulfillment.


  • Ability to troubleshoot low to moderate complexity enduser issues, workflow problems, and enhancement requests for departmental users, associated medical staff, key stakeholders, management and leadership. Contributes to technical and workflow root cause analysis.
Design, Test, Implement and support files/systems within assigned products and scope with mínimal supervision. Populates tables and databases, for a domain with multiple owners, with some assistance from Vendor and Information Technology staff. Collaborates in an integrated approach to eliminate the potential for a negative impact to our customers and patients.

  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Communicates effectively (written and oral) across all levels of the organization and has the ability to determine the appropriate forum for each method.
Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and manage individual workload with mínimal assistance. Collaborates effectively with team members to adjust priorities based on business needs.

Must be willing and able to travel to any/all HonorHealth and affiliated sites.

  • Assists with the change management, project management, and documentation policies and standards, established by the Information Technology Department and Project Management Office for maintenance, requests and new initiatives. May lead low to moderate complexity projects as assigned.
Understands and utilizes the IT Project Management toolset for the successful completion of initiatives.

  • Understands and follows established change management procedures for testing, documenting, and communicating system changes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with HonorHealth policies and procedures in addition to the Mission, Vision and Values.
