Overview:
Parkwest Bicycle Casino is looking for a Bilingual in Mandarin Concierge. Love customer service and meeting new people? This might be the job for you.

Qualified individual will assist guest with any need for translation/interpreting in the casino floor.

Acts as liaison between guests and Gaming staff, keeps customers informed about promotions and Advertising/Marketing programs by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for listening to, understanding, and translating spoken or written statements from Mandarin to English language.
Reproduce statements in another language for unique listening or reading audience.
Hosting Special Events and functions where translation in Mandarin is needed.
Answers a high volume of calls or inquiries with an appropriate, cheerful, and helpful greeting.
Facilitates customer concerns and directs them to the appropriate person or assists them through the proper channels.
Maintains current information regarding promotions throughout the casino.
May need to performs data entry for player tracking, rewards system, and marketing promotions as needed while entering data for marketing promotions.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
No experience necessary. Hospitality and/or marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus.
Fluency in speaking, reading and writing Mandarin language into English required.
Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and coworkers.
Able to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Available for full time work which may include weekends and evening scheduling; and ready for all programs and activities. Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
Able to communicate clearly with team members.
Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitasks effectively.
Able to work independently
Able to work within a team environment
